  • Silk/Cotton Garments

    • Use mild detergent which is specifically designed for Silk and Delicate fabrics i.e. a wool wash/silk wash. 

    Most regular detergents (e.g. Omo, Cold Power, Fab etc) are labelled as "not suitable for Silk" or similar, in the fine print. They will eventually cause irreparable damage to Silk - causing it to rip and tear. Please check your detergent labels carefully and only use detergent which is recommended for Silk. If you have chosen to launder your garment in an unsuitable detergent, we can not take responsibility for damage to the fabric.

    
    

    • Do not use fabric softeners, stain removers or bleach
    • Handwash is highly recommended - cold water. Alternatively:
    • Cold machine wash on delicate cycle in a delicates bag. Wash with similar colours. Short, gentle spin cycle.
    • Do not soak the garment
    • Do not leave the garment sitting wet – hang to dry immediately after washing
    • Drip dry in shade
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Warm iron
    • Dry cleanable

     

    Cotton and Cotton Voile Garments

    • Handwash is highly recommended. Alternatively, machine wash on delicate cycle in a delicates bag
    • Use mild detergent
    • Wash with like colours
    • Hang to dry in shade
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Warm/Hot Iron

    
    

    Viscose Garments

    • It is usual for Viscose to shrink 3 - 5% in length after the first wash. Ironing will help to restore the shape.
    • Use mild detergent
    • Do not use fabric softeners, stain removers or bleach
    • Hand wash is highly recommended. Alternatively, cold wash on delicate cycle in a delicates bag. Wash with similar colours
    • Do not soak the garment
    • Remove all excess water from the garment  - avoid wringing/twisting garment. Gentle spin cycle in washing machine.
    • Do not leave the garment sitting wet – hang to dry immediately after washing
    • Drip dry in shade
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Cool iron only. Hot iron will burn viscose. Iron on reverse side.
    • Dry cleanable

    
    

    Bags and Purses

    • Scotchguard your fabric items before initial use and then on a regular basis
    • Spot cleaning is recommended to remove any marks or stains on the fabric
    • Lightly sponge the area with diluted washing detergent - do not submerge in water
    • Leave to dry in the shade
    • Do not rub fabric aggressively
    • Machine washing is not suitable

  • Returns Policy

    We want you to be happy with your purchase!

    • Full price items can be exchanged or refunded (minus original postage costs, if applicable)
    • Sale items can be exchanged or returned for store credit only.  Sale items can not be refunded.
    • Garments must be unworn and undamaged with the original tags still attached.
    • Please email us to arrange the return/exchange within 5 days of receiving the item. The item must be returned to us within 14 days. All return shipping costs are to be covered by the customer.
    • In the case of exchanges, the customer must provide a prepaid, self addressed satchel for the new item to be posted in

    Simply email info@mirandamurphy.com.au with your full name, order number and the reason for returning/exchanging the product.

     

     

    Return of Faulty Goods

    We will repair or replace any goods that arrive at their destination faulty or damaged. To return damaged goods, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of item. The item must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt. The item must be returned with a copy of the original invoice. Please note: faulty products do not include damage incurred by the purchaser (please see Product Care).
    A repair or exchange (based on our discretion) will be made on receipt of the damaged item. No costs will be associated with the repair of damaged goods. In the case that the item cannot be repaired we will send you a replacement, at our expense, in the same style/colour. In the case that the item cannot be repaired or replaced, we will offer you a full refund OR we will offer the opportunity to replace the damaged item with another item of your choosing – any difference in price will be charged or refunded accordingly.

  • * Orders are shipped within 1 - 3 business days 

    ** We recommend customers provide a secure delivery address, for example a parcel locker, PO Box or your place of work. We are not responsible for lost/stolen parcels.

    *** We ship with signature on delivery.  You are welcome to leave a note giving authority to leave without signature but we do not recommend this due to parcels going missing with Australia post. 

     

    All orders within Australia:

    Due to an increase in parcels being lost by Australia Post, we are now only shipping with signature on delivery.

    Regular Australia Post with signature on delivery  is $2.95

    Express (Overnight to most major cities) Australia Post with signature on delivery is $7.95
